Job Description

The Head Cashier oversees and supports Cashiers to ensure efficient checkout operations.
They expedite price checks, approve Point of Sale transactions, and authorize markdowns across various registers, including mainline, Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental.
This role includes providing first-level escalation for customer issues, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Additionally, the Head Cashier assists in training and guiding team members, monitors cash handling procedures, and ensures compliance with store policies.
They play a key role in maintaining smooth and organized checkout processes, contributing to overall store efficiency and a positive shopping experience.
