Job Description
The Head Cashier oversees and supports Cashiers by ensuring efficient checkout processes and providing exceptional customer service.
They expedite price checks, approve Point of Sale transactions, and authorize markdowns across various checkout areas including mainline registers, Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental.
The role involves acting as the first level of escalation for customer concerns, resolving issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
Additionally, the Head Cashier assists in training and mentoring Cashiers, manages operational procedures, and ensures adherence to company policies.
They play a key role in maintaining a smooth and efficient checkout environment while supporting overall store operations.
